Saving your preferred credit or debit card details to your account makes it faster and easier to make a payment through our website.
Adding a saved payment method
You can save your credit or debit card to your Trees That Count account when making a payment for a gift or donation – simply select ‘Save my card details for a faster checkout next time’.
You can also add and save your preferred method within your account payment settings page. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below.
Within your account settings, select the ‘payments’ tab
Next to the ‘Payment method’ heading, select the ‘Edit’ button
Click the ‘Add a credit/debit card’
Once you’ve entered your credit/debit card details, hit the ‘Save changes button’
Removing/deleting saved payment method
You can remove and delete your saved credit or debit card within your account payment settings page. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below.
Within your account settings, select the ‘payments’ tab
Next to the ‘Payment method’ heading, select the ‘Edit’ button
Click the ‘Actions’ dropdown and select ‘Delete/remove card’
Please note that if you have an active monthly donation, you won’t be able to delete/remove your saved credit or debit card details. You’ll first need to cancel your monthly donation.
Editing saved payment methods
To edit the saved card on your Trees That Count account, head to the ‘payments’ tab within your account settings. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below.
Within your account settings, select the ‘payments’ tab
Next to the ‘Payment method’ heading, select the ‘Edit’ button
Click the ‘Actions’ dropdown and select ‘Edit card details’
Once you’ve entered your new credit/debit card details, hit the ‘Save changes button’
You can only have one saved payment card on your account. When you edit your payment details, the old details will be removed from your account and you’ll no longer be able to select that card during the gifting or donating process.
Please note that if you have an active monthly donation, the new details will be used for your ongoing monthly payments.
Where are the payment details stored?
We use Stripe to securely store and handle payments through our website. The Trees That Count team does not have access or visibility of your card details.
