Setting up a monthly donation
Making a monthly donation is easy! You can set up a monthly donation here and you’ll be guided through the process. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below:
Go to our website – treesthatcount.co.nz
Proceed to ‘Donate’
Select ‘Monthly’
Select your donation preferences:
The number of trees to be planted each month
Your preferred planting location for your trees
If you like, leave an optional message for your donation
Finally, confirm your payment details to finalise the donation
Once your donation has been processed, you'll receive an automated email with your donation receipt. You'll receive a receipt each month.
Updating your monthly donation
Once logged in, you can edit your monthly donation details within your account. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below:
Log in to your Trees That Count account
Select your account avatar
Click ‘Account settings’ from the dropdown menu
Select the ‘PAYMENTS’ tab
Click ‘edit your payment details’
You can edit the number of trees per month, your preferred planting region, message of support and payment card details.
To change your monthly donation processing date, cancel the existing donation and set up a new donation on the preferred date of the month.
Cancelling your monthly donation
You can cancel your monthly donation within your account at any time. Need an extra hand? Follow the steps below:
Log in to your Trees That Count account
Select your account avatar
Click ‘Account settings’ from the dropdown menu
Select the ‘PAYMENTS’ tab
Click 'Cancel monthly donation'
You’ll have the opportunity to provide a reason why you’d like to cancel your monthly donation - this will help us improve Trees That Count.
Payment methods for monthly donations
Currently, we only accept VISA, Mastercards and AMEX cards for monthly donations. We use Stripe to securely process debit and credit card payments through our website.
We may look to add additional payment methods in the future. If you have a preferred payment method in mind, be sure to let us know!
Minimum monthly donation amount
With Trees That Count, your donation plants a native tree ($10 per tree). The minimum donation you can make is 1 tree ($10).
There is no maximum donation you can make each month. If you donate 101 trees or more each month, we’re able to offer a volume discount ($9.75 per tree).
