You can request native trees for 2026 for your planting project through our website. If you haven’t planted with us before, you’ll first need to tell us about your planting experience and planting project.

How to submit a request for native trees

  1. Sign up or log-in to the Trees That Count website

  2. If you’re a new planter with us; complete both the planting experience and planting project forms within the planter dashboard

  3. Select ‘Request native trees’ within your planter dashboard and select the project you’d like to request trees for

  4. Complete the request form in its entirety - all fields are required unless otherwise noted as optional

  5. Once you've submitted the request, our team will review your experience, project and tree request

What happens after submitting a request

  1. If we approve your request, you’ll then be asked to get a quote from your preferred local nursery

  2. We approve the costs and usually pay your nursery direct

  3. You collect your trees from the nursery and get planting!

  4. You care for your trees and provide us with annual monitoring data (it's super easy!)

  5. We'll help promote your work. Make sure your planter profile is up to date so we can share your story

Important notes

  • 2025 tree requests for planting projects are closed.

  • It may take some time for our team to review your 2025 request. We'll notify you of the outcome of your request within 6 weeks of the 15 September 2024 closing date.
