You can request native trees for 2026 for your planting project through our website. If you haven’t planted with us before, you’ll first need to tell us about your planting experience and planting project.
First time planter with Trees That Count
Firstly, sign up and set up your Trees That Count account
Next, from your planter dashboard, complete the following 3 steps:
Step 1: Your planting experience.
We need to better understand you, your group and your experience in sourcing, planting, maintaining and monitoring the survival of the trees.Step 2: Your planting project.
We consider this information as we assess your first tree request. If your request is successful, some information (e.g., project description, photos) will be visible by our funders so be sure to tell a good story!Step 3: Your tree request.
Finally, you’ll need to complete the tree request form to tell us how many trees you’re requesting, where you’ll be planting them, your plan and provide photos of the intended sites.
Once you've submitted the request, you’ll see your tree request is submitted and ‘pending’ approval (see the screenshot below).
Important note: As a first time planter, you need to complete all 3 steps to submit a tree request to our team. Tree requests that are show as ‘draft’ or ‘withdrawn’ under the status column will not be reviewed by our team.
