Do Trees That Count organise planting events?

Unfortunately, no. At Trees That Count, we focus on raising funds for more native tree plantings. We also support thousands of groups nationwide. Organising volunteer events for businesses is beyond our resources.

At times we do host planting events for our major donors. You can find these events on our events page. Remember, we don't plant during summer. So, you might not see any events listed at certain times of the year.

If your business wants to fund a large number of native trees (around 10,000) and host a planting event, please contact us. Email us at [email protected]. We're eager to chat how we may be able to help.

Can I come along to a planting event?

Anyone can volunteer in a planting event. Be sure to keep an eye on upcoming events within our events page - there you’ll find the information you need. Please remember, we don’t organise planting events but we may occasionally help host.

If you’re eager to get your hands dirty, reach out to your local council or Conservation Volunteers New Zealand – they may be able to point you towards a local planting event.
